SHOWNU is the eldest member of Monsta X. despite his cool and tough demeanor, he is actually very shy, quiet and incredibly humble. his charm is he is a big teddy bear and known to be the dad of the group with his dad-like mannerisms. he often looks after and takes good care of his members and monbebes. he loves food and often snaps photos and shares his meals with monbebes on fancafe. (he even has his own mukbang show called yum-yum yum-yum, you can watch here.) he is an insanely talented dancer and singer and often helps choreograph many of monsta x’s choreos and uploads dance covers often. he receives many praises as well for his visuals, but he is never boastful about his looks nor his talents. shownu works hard to ensure he never lets monbebes down and only ever makes them proud. he is easy going and calm, and hardly ever shows when he is angry or frustrated. shownu is one of the best leaders and he deserves his flowers.

MINHYUK is the second eldest member of Monsta X and is considered to be the sunshine and mood maker of the group. he’s known to be loud and mischievous, and brightens up the mood anywhere he goes. minhyuk comes off as very rebellious and tough and though he is, he is also very warm hearted and sensitive. like many of the other members, he shows his vulnerable side to the members as well as monbebe. he is very artistic and has a deep love and passion for art, such as painting. he often uploads his artworks, song covers and vlogs. he loves whales and over the years he’s collected various whale items as gifts from monbebes and even has a tattoo of one near his knee. minhyuk has such a bright and bubbly personality that makes everyone feel comfortable around him. other idols are very fond of him as well. he thinks of monbebes as his friends and treats them as so. he teases and takes care of monbebes like a real friend would. as of recently minhyuk has begun his military service.

KIHYUN is the main vocalist of Monsta X. he’s very confident in both his vocal abilities and his physical appearance (as he should be). he’s sang many ost’s for dramas and occasionally uploads song covers. please stream those and support our shark boy! he is an extremely talented vocalist and receives a lot of praise for his abilities by monbebes and others. he isn’t a native english speaker, though he studies it in order to communicate on fancafe, twitter and instagram with international fans and is really good! in english interviews, along with I.M, kihyun speaks well and helps translate for the other members. one of his hobbies is cooking and he even has a cooking show where he invites one of the other members on to cook with him. he also loves photography, and he shares his photos with fans on fancafe. kihyun is also known to be protective over monbebes. he can be seen active on fancafe comforting, lending advice and encouragement to fans. when it comes to communicating with fans online, he is the most active member on social media.

HYUNGWON is the visual and lead dancer of Monsta X. he was a model before becoming an idol and has been in a many runway fashion shows. he’s quiet and reserved most of the time and especially shy, but can be lively and full of laughter around the members and monbebes. he is usually teased by the other members but he is insanely quick witted and funny. he is very funny and one of the funniest members, especially during american interviews where you can see him joking around by showing off his english speaking skills. much like shownu, he has choreographed dances and has dance covers and stages where he showcases his dance skills. hyungwon is also a DJ under Highline Entertainment, a subsidiary label under Starship Entertainment. he goes by the stage name, DJ H.ONE and usually has his own sets on their world tours and other various festivals. he has a few songs as well as collabs out under his DJ name, be sure to check them out and stream! he is most noteably known for his unique looks such as his thick lips and his perfect proportions. he is also known to be the sleepyhead of the group who enjoys relaxing and snacking.

JOOHEON is Monsta X’s main rapper and the eldest of the maknae line and rapline. he helps produce and write many of Monsta X’s songs. he is most known for his powerful and intimidating stage presence, even back in his rookie days. however he is quite the opposite when with the members and monbebes. he has a soft and warm heart and can get extremely sulky very easily. he is easily scared and the members tease him for it. his charms he is most known for are his deep set of dimples and being the king of aegyo which he shows off when he appears on variety shows. he can sing very well despite being the main rapper of the group. joohoney would be described as an ace, when it comes to dance, rap, and vocal he has got it all. he never fails to exceed monbebes expectations when it comes to his art and performance. he also loves, loves, loves cats and even has two of his own that he talks about often, and posts on fancafe and twitter. jooheon has put out a few solo works such as his mixtapes. please support our joohoney and stream his most recent project LIGHTS

CHANGKYUN aka I.M is the youngest member of Monsta X. he is fluent in english from living in America when he was a child. he is usually the translator and speaks for the members in international interviews, with the help of kihyun also from time to time. he is quiet and stoic, but he shares his most intimate, true thoughts and feelings with monbebes and the other members. he shows his caring, attentive and loving side towards monbebes often despite his tough demeanor he is very sweet and softspoken to fans. I.M is most known for his deep voice and lower register, as well as being the most mature and responsible among the members despite being the maknae of the group. he loves to be alone, listening to and making music in his free time. he loves pets and children although they don’t show much or any interest in him. changkyun has a few of his own solo mixtapes and collabs. as of recently he has been exercising and has expressed his interest in fitness and staying healthy. please support I.M and stream his most recent project OVERDRIVE
